Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how RezenIt handles data for our mobile app, website, and browser extension.

1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to RezenIt's mobile application, website, and browser extension (together, the "Services").
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on which RezenIt service you use.
Information you provide directly (App/Website):
- Account Information: Email address and sign-in data (including email/password or supported OAuth providers), plus optional profile information such as nickname and profile image.
- Recovery Content: Journal/check-in entries, relapse questionnaire responses, habits, commitments, streak and milestone activity, and other recovery progress data you create in the app.
- Community and Partner Content: Community posts/comments/reactions/reports, partner requests, partner chat messages, appreciations, and shared accountability activity.
- Support and Contact Data: Messages you send through support or contact forms.
Information collected automatically in the App:
- Device and App Signals: Platform, timezone, app version context, and usage events required to operate app features and maintain account state.
- Notification Data: Push notification token(s), notification preferences, and notification interaction metadata.
- Protection Data: Protection on/off status, protection event logs, custom blocklist domains, and blocked-attempt metadata used for blocker statistics and reliability.
Information used by the Browser Extension:
- Browsing URLs for filtering: The extension checks active page URLs and hostnames to determine whether a page should be blocked.
- Local extension settings: Protection status, custom block list entries, and cached filtering results are stored locally in your browser storage.
- Network classification requests: Hostname lookups may be sent to Cloudflare Family DNS over HTTPS to classify whether a domain should be blocked for adult content filtering.
Information from third-party providers:
- Payments: RevenueCat and app store platforms process subscriptions and purchases. We do not directly collect payment card details.
- AI processing: AI prompts and related context for in-app AI features are processed via OpenRouter and model providers routed through OpenRouter.
- Analytics and attribution: We use analytics/attribution providers (including Amplitude and GoMarketMe) to understand app usage and campaign performance.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including to:
- Provide core app and extension functionality, including recovery tracking, partner accountability, community features, and content blocking.
- Authenticate users and manage subscriptions.
- Deliver AI-powered features such as recovery chat and summary generation, including usage/credit accounting.
- Enable blocker features, including cooldown-based disable flows, custom blocklists, and extension SafeSearch/adult-content filtering.
- Send service communications and push notifications based on your notification settings.
- Respond to support requests and service-related communications.
- Maintain service security, reliability, abuse prevention, and feature quality.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to provide the Services, including with:
- Convex: For backend infrastructure including app authentication, database, file storage, and server-side functions.
- RevenueCat and app store providers: For subscription and purchase management.
- OpenRouter and model providers: To process AI chat and summary requests.
- Expo push services: To deliver push notifications you opt into.
- Amplitude and GoMarketMe: For product analytics, session-level insights, and campaign attribution.
- Loops: For transactional/support and lifecycle email automation.
- Cloudflare Family DNS (extension feature only): To classify domains for adult-content filtering.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
5. Data Retention
App and website account data is retained as needed to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your app account, we delete your account data from our systems according to our deletion workflows. Extension settings and block lists are stored locally in your browser and remain there until you clear browser storage, remove entries, or uninstall the extension.
6. Children's Privacy
RezenIt is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 17.
7. Your Choices
You can manage your profile and notification settings in-app, control or uninstall extension settings, and request account deletion through the app. You may also contact us for privacy requests using the email below.
